ALL left hand drive countries got the updated dash ... RHD countries did not ... I like the dials better on the non updated dash ... tacho's are meant to be the centre of attention

exaust problems? why would their be any? if u switched to rhd or if u just took the engine out the exaust port is on the same side or u couldnt just do a jdm engine swap.... so u dont need to redo the exaust.

That's not entirely correct. The RHD steering box requires the turbo to be moved forward with a custom manifold.

...but this engine is coming off a RHD car, shouldn't there be enough space for the turbo already? (or is this some other form of recirculating ball black magic I am unaware of....?)

im using a t2 tranny on my 12a turbo project the only thing whith using that tranny is that you will need the light fly wheel and counter weight the stock t2 flywheel will not work other than that it bolts directly with no problems.
