I'm Buying a 12a Turbo front clip

Well Tomorrow I'm buying a 12a turbo front clip. (RHD) conversion here we come . The Dash needs a little work, but it can be fixed. The car come's with tranny, computer, rear-end and suspension and (wheels from japan Panasport type) which I wil be selling.

I plan installing a my S5 Turbo, Microtech LT8, and FMIC. My question is how hard will the RHD conversion be?

I'll post pics tomorrow, when i pick it up

BTW I'm paying $1500

One more thing.

My car has a T2 tranny with custom drive shaft, will this work with my 12A-T motor, or do I use the 12 driveshaft and tranny?

I'm kind of condused

Alex,

If I can get 250whp out of that little 12A, I'll be more than happy. Even If I rebuild my 13B-T and put a big turbo, there's always going to be someone out there faster. for example you

But This way There's a pretty good chance I'll have the only Microtech powered, widebody, RHD, 12A-T FB in Florida

Hey, about those wheels, can you send me a picture maybe? I am about to buy wheels soon and I'm looking at the Kosei K-1's seriously, but I am open to used wheels too! they're 4x110 right?

I'm amazed you even found one. It was probably some Japanese guy's baby until he got divorced and his wife decided to cut it in half or something. lol j/k
I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use your t2 tranny and driveshaft just as you are now. Just drop in the new engine and bolt everything up as it was.
Anyways, good luck with it. Sounds like a cool project.

12a turbo's should have 4x114.3 PCD wheels ... thats where the "SE" style suspension was 1st used

Why bother converting to RHD ??? just take the engine out of the front clip and swap it over ??

Dude, just get another 13BT, and put your microtech on it. A GSL-SE should NEVER have a 12A in it.

Yeah I allready have the housing and rotor I needed. I'll just buy a rebuild kit and put it back together. I hope that atkins video is as good as they say it is

BTW: Alex, I just ordered the rear wheels for my car.

www.ccwheel.com $465 each (ouch!!) 17x12 31/2" backspace they're located in Daytona so shipping for the two was only $40.

Yeah RHD is no good. Imagine the problems with the drive through! Oh yeah and the exhaust thing too!
I also agree with the 13B. So many more options, plus its BIGGER. Even in the small small world of rotaries, bigger is somehow still better.

465 a wheel?

speaking of RHD!!!

Did "RHD" dashes ever come with the US style 84-85 dash. I did some searching on the Aussie forums, and all the Series 3 dashes I see look like these.

This does look nice though!!!

No, only North America got the dash you have. Everywhere else they kept the older style dash with the newer interiors.

I like the wheels, they look like Volks/ARE rims.
