igntion coil not firing

hey everyone.i have a 85fb that ran fine for the first 2 days i got it but now it wont start.me and my freind noticed the trailing coil was arching real bad and the just stopped working.i bought another control module(not knowing there are 2)and replaced it with the one pointing towards the front front of the car kinda.the trailing coil still did not work.switched it with the ignitor thats pointing to the alternator and now the trailing coil works but the leading one dosent.if anyone can help id reall appriciate it.and sry if this thread kinda dosent make sense im in a rush i gotta go to work in like a few minuets

if the coil was arching then i would venture to say that the plug wire wasn't on snug. to me, it sounds as if you have a bad ignitor. pretty simple fix. replace the bad ignitor and you should be good to go. what part of ohio are you located in?
