Ignitor position

I was wiring up my car with its 12a, and came to a point where I do not know which ignitor is which. If you are looking at the dirstributor (81-85 electronic) straight on from the drivers side, their is the ignitor on the left hand side and the ignitor on the back. Which one controls which coil, leading and trailing.
If nobody knows, will you do me a favor and check out what color wire is connected to the negative terminal of the leading coil. It should be yellow with a colored band. What is that color? Thanks

The front is leading, and the PITA one by the alt is trailing. Front coil is trailing, aft is leading.

My trailing ignitor was easy to get to...is there something I'm missing? I loosened my alternator, pulled the belt off, removed the alternator bracket, leaned the alternator up, plenty of room for a small screwdriver to fit. I couldn't find my stubby phillips or I'd have used that without so much moving things around. I ended up using a small extension (for on a ratchet) with a screwdriver bit thing in the end.

If you burn out ignitors like I do, pick up some 6 mm thumb screws at ACE hardware. I'm plagued with interstate-side ignitor failures, so everything is finger-operated. Just an idea.

More I look at it, as soon as I know the engine runs, I will go dual ignitor, dual coil for the leading plugs, like Jeff20B has been talking about. I have the extra coil and should be getting a few extra ignitors. Then if one goes out, I can run stock setup till I get another ignitor. Can't see any disadvantage to converting, only advantages.
