Ignition switch wiring

the car is a 1985 gslse My ignition switch seems to have gone bad and I am going to bypass it until I can get to the dealer and get another (I don't know if it is an in stock part or something that is going to have to be ordered) I have used the Factory service manual wiring diagram to determine the purpose of all but 2 wires the red/black(not the black/red) and the black wire that are rivited to the back of the switch they share a 4 position connector anyone know what they are for?

my ignition switch went bad in my '85 gsl-se about 2 months ago. I replaced it completely with some automotive grade(metal) toggles from NAPA auto parts. if you would like i can send you the wiring diagram i made for it. Oh, and you don't really need to worry about someone stealing it either as they have locking steering wheels.
3 toggles
1 momentary
2 on/off
_________
$30.00 total instead of 135 for a new switch, unless you REALLY want a stock replacement

I have already made a working bypass out of one 60 amp switch and a plunger style starter button (it is so tempting to go rice and buy one of those red "start" buttons get a few covered aircraft style switches and build a panel in the car to hold them but I like having a conventinal ignition switch) I just wanted to know what the other two wires did they only have continuity during the start stage of the switch
