Ignition Switch Wires, Terminals L and E ?

The two 18ga wires from the middle of the ignition switch:

Terminal L is RED/Blk
Terminal E is BLK

They go to a 4 post connector. The other two terminals on the connector are RED/yel Loop.

What do the L and E terminals do? I'm going to install relays to bypass the load from the ignition switch, and want to know what these do. I'm thinking about putting the switch on the ground sensing side of the relay for simplicity in wiring.

You can kind of see it in the generic Mazdatrix pic. I can't find those wires in the FSM Electrical.

Thanks
-Paul

In my manual it's says its a brake warning light checker. Tied in with the parking brake switch and brake fluid sensor. So im pretty sure it's just for if you the thing where if you leave your lights on and open your door, it warns(buzzes) to remind you to shut them off.

Edit: Didn't realize this thread was so old. Did a google search while I was in the process of trying to figure this out for myself and this came up.
