Junk the coils and the plug wires. Custom cut a set of Accel 300+ Race wires and get the Jacobs chrome coils to replace the mitsi's. You'll get a ton of spark, wires that won't have to be replaced for a long time and it won't introduce any noise into your stereo or electronics. Nice simple, if somewhat pricey, upgrade...

The guy is looking for basic ignition mods...the MSD box starts to get complicated and you don't want to run it through the distributor, anyway...

Yes...the kit even comes with aluminum crimping dies. At least it did three years ago when I did mine. The trick is to ignore the part where it directs you to cut down to the spiral core. After you leave enough to lay over the jacket, sand that core down to the wire, then lay it over to crimp on the end. I tried it as an experiment to see if the RFI would kick up. It didn't. Did I mention they're three years old and still going strong? At least until the rex got totalled! Now I've got a spare set until I find the next body...

Or, you could just buy Accel 300+ Thundersports, and you won't have to cut 'em yourself.
That's what i did!
If it's a 12a, here is the part # 7930
You have to add a letter to the end, for the color you want. You can get them in blue, yellow or red.

example: 7930B 7930Y or 7930R

Excellent! Back when I went to that wire, Accel had nothing for rotaries. That's definitely a lot easier...

aside from a set of dual 2 bbl. weber carbs on a rotary enignering intake, and a 13b swap, nothing really.
