IF The Kaminari kit was available....

My dad and I are considering buying the MOLD to the Kaminari FULL kit, I am posting the link.. Please don't FU#K my buisness plans and outbid me. This is going to be a small buisness for my father and I...

List what you would pay for the KIT in total or just the individual Parts...

PLEASE be serious because this will probably determine weither I jump into this or not...

Look up pictures of CODY's car for the finished product (minus the gay testarosso things)

LOL.
Thanks for the help!

Personally, you'd have to shoot me to put that hideous kit on my car. It's too modern looking to go on an angular '80s sports car. No offence to anyone who has this kit, it's just not my cup of tea.

i love that front bumper. if i didn't currently have the 3 piece urethane air dam, i'd definately be asking you to mark me down for one...of course i could always sell mine, and go with the kamanari.

what kind of pricing are you thinking...for the air dam

I've always liked the kit, especially the spoiler, sideskirts and rear bumper.. I could probably make them very competitivley priced to the Victoria Brit, stuff/mazdatrix.. But anyway if there is little to no market for it I won't waste my time..

I'd buy a spoiler and possibly the sideskirts, but that front air dam isn't going to happen on my car.

That kit you're looking at keeps popping up on ebay. He keeps dropping the price every time he relists it. Last time I saw it, it was around $1k.

i thought the kaminari had the good front air dam and that one was a knockoff..

as on http://www.cardomain.com/ride/661241/1

and there were still leftovers here

http://www.nopionline.com/nopistore/...A%20RX7%201981

but i could be wrong

I dissagree, carbon fiber is hideous in all forms.

But, I also agree that it probably wouldn't sell, the curveyness of it just doesn't match the body style of our 1st gens.

Personaly I think is a good idea however, like everyone here said. It just dosen't fit the 80" Rx7 style. I would redesign it or make my own design for it. Personaly everyone taste is different and for me I kind of like the rear spoiler but not the front and my fiance dosen't like both of them. I guess is worth a try maybe to be design for more than just Rx7 along you might have a chance to sell a few of them.

Sometimes I think having the basic like that kit there to make other different one is worth it only if you are truly going to doit. For me I have no experience with fireglass except installing the one on new or rebuilt homes which is a different story. I guess the only think I can say is if you do this I wish you "Best of Luck" like I would wish anyone that is trying to start a business.

Well I am a little leary spending $600 for a mold that I have never seen the final product from, the mold is the Biggest part of what makes the final product look good. I would personally rather just buy the spoiler mold and sell the spoilers as it is a very attractive design and they are easy to ship. But I don't think he is willing to split it up.

I wouldn't mind having a good, stock looking spoiler and maybe an airdam. I would think these would sell more than a flashy body kit, but that's just my opinion.

That spoiler is just a psuedo Ferrari 355 look, If it wasn't so angular it would be more popular. If it was simpler like the rear I'd bet it'd sell

I have an authentic 4 piece Kaminari kit in the basement. The only piece I'm missing is the rear skirt. It looks nothing like the one offered, mine has that old school look. The one that is offered looks too contemporary and unless Kaminari made 2 entirely different kits, I have doubts about the authenticity of the design.

If the seller once sold under the name of RX7audiophile, I have done business with him before, don't care to again.

The front bumper looks like something you'd see on a mustang or camaro. Way too "bulgy" for me.

Now if you started making THIS bumper, I'd buy it
