Idle up valve?
Anyone know that the valve that cracks your throttle open slightly when the AC is turned on is called? I’m looking for one of these if anyone has one.
Thank you

There are enough guys getting rid of their rats nest that you might be able to put a request in the classified section and get one for even cheaper. Good luck.

Appreciate the effort, but I need the actual mechanical mechinism that moves the throttle. Not the solenoid that controls it. Looks like a diaphragm with an adjustment screw on the top.

I have been looking around. I haven't found one yet. I take it you've tried a post in the classified section? Have you checked with a local Mazda dealer? Carb parts have always been fun for me to track down. I keep meaning to pick up a spare on ebay some time when one is reasonably priced. I have one guy I will talk to and see if he might have one. Good luck!

Think I may try something along these lines if I can't find one.

Found a really good pic.
^^^bingo. just make sure you ac solenoid is working and not stuck i installed mine and it created a vacuum leak when the a/c wasnt running very small but noticeable. and i had swap it with another one, not originally intended for the a/c but does the same thing non the less. GL
