Idle problem on cold start...
I was wondering if any of you guys could help me out here. I have an '85 GSL-SE, that I have recently installed a low milage(15k) motor in. The car runs beutifully, but when I start it up, say first thing in the morning when the engine is completely cold, it won't idle right away. It has to warm up slightly before it'll hold proper idle, but once it does, it's rock solid at 750-800rpms. I have adjusted the TPS within specs a while back, and it solved some other issues I had, but this one is still there.
Now if the car has sat for even as much as say, 3 hours...I can go out, fire it up, and it's fine. But not when the engine is completely cold.
Any ideas?

Im not very familiar with the fuel injection systems on 7s. you should ask the people in the second gen forum too, im sure one of them would know.

Multiply that by 100, and then subract $300. That's what I'd like to see out of it.
If I don't sell it soon, then I'm going all out on the car. I havea body kit lined up, and new paint. I'll probably be ordering RB springs in the next few days...the price on the car would only go up from there....

Well, it's not that I don't like the car, cause I do...a lot. I would like something a tad more refined though....even if it was an FC....or more what I wanted before this, a Miata to play with.... Chances are, I'd be stayin in the Mazda family. I had an MX-6 lined up that had a blown motor, car was real cheap, I could've bought it, and put the j-spec motor in it for what I have in my car, but it got sold already, so back to the drawing board.
