I want an RX7
I'm an 18 yr old high school student
After college and such
I'd love to get an Rx7 (Gen 1 preferrably)
my ucle owned a 1983 RX7 he wanted to give me, but the body was too far gone, I have a pic of it if anyone wants it however
how much do RX7s go for usually in CDn dollars, what are some pros/cons about them?/
thanks

Damn
no money for it
BEsides, my parents would not like having a car around for a few yrs when I'm off to college
I know I'll find one down the road
if I could, I would, but the current situation does not allow for it

Spend $500, come pick up my early '79 (one of the first ones built for the states ever) drop a new motor in it, make it a project, invest a few bucks here and there, and you'll have a nice car by the time you're done, AND it'll be something you built yourself.
Plus it's in Michigan right now, so you could come right through Toronto or Sarnia or wherever..

My personal predition is that after next year, prices on used RX-7's are going to start going up a lot.
The new RX-8 I think is going to finally make people realize what a classic car the 1st gen RX-7 is...

I personally don't see that happening here in America until the rotary engine rebuilder becomes as common as the people who can rebuild mouse motors. No one will invest in a Japanese car that requires an engine rebuild that exceeds what they buy the car for. Maybe for a barnyard Ferrari discovery, but not for an oriental import. I also believe they're going to miss the target window for introducing the RX-8 in time to catch the current wave of interested buyers....

Go into the lounge, you can post up a 100 really quick. If you wanna post useless crap, then you fit in just fine there
Once you get a 100, easy way to resize is to get a .jpg of the pic you want go into MS paint, and then edit, then stretch/skew and set it for 17 and 17 and bam it will be the right size
