i suck at offsets, so i need quick verification

i got my moser 5 lug axles from respeed ready to go in. all i need to do is put the studs in. i have a set of ARP studs that are much longer than the stock studs. i dont want to use these unless i have to. because i want to be able to use the lug nuts i paid $100 for and i wont be able to with studs as long as they are. so i need to know if my wheels will fit without any rubbing issues. im sure they will, i just need confirmation.

heres the specs:

16x8 with offset of 26. i dont know if its positive or negative, i assume positive? so will this fit on the rear of an SE without issues?

thanks

Assuming the new axles stick no further out than the stockers and your 26mm backspacing your wheel should stick outside of the stock fender. I run 16x8 on my watanbes with 32mm 225-50-16 rubber and they rub... 14mm less offset would put the rubber right on the outer edge of the fender from my messurement...

BTW I'm using -SE bits... I can't remember if you were to... I know the stock offsets are ~20 mm difference between the -SE and other models.

No way. The max you can do is 5.25 and thats close. Thats what my other friend is using in his showcar RX-3.

Im running 4.75 backspace on a 15x10 epsilon in my 75 RX-3 and 15X9 in the 73 RX-3

Post baack what you think of those axles. I'm going to need a set with the 5 lug FC bolt pattern for my SSRs when I install them.

well, i can go ahead and tell you they look like theyve been designed better than the stock axles, better transitions. im sure the composition of the metal is a lot stronger as well. these axles should be able to stand up to a good bit. ill let you know how fitment and all is. i have held them next to stock SE axles, and they look like theyll work perfectly.
