I hit a turn too face and bap'd it. I ******* cracked my windshield with my face.

I need to get a bumper, left front fender, That little metal piece that goes infront of the hood.

Do you think I should try and buy it online or go to a junkyard.

while online, look into a 5 point racing harness, and wear it all the time as a reminder that you're not invincible.

 

Make sure you put me in your Will for your car if you're going to continue to drive without a seatbelt. I feel naked if I don't have my 5 point harness or my seatbelt on.....how old are you? It's the kids that are not even 21 that I've seen disregarding the seatbelt and end up a hood ornament on their own cars.

Im 19. Yeah, I went to the JY today and they had zero FBs, I was mad. My windshield is just cracked. And my face hurts.

I need to get a harness bar before I get harnesses?

 

i feel soooooo weird without a seatbelt on, i cant even concentrate. i dont know how or why people do it.

DON'T run a 5 point harness on the street, it's not meant for that. Also, check the jy in sj off commerical, they have at least three as of last week.

Why would you not wanna use the five point harnesses on the street?

Five point harnesses are fine to drive around with on the street all you have too do is be extra careful checking blind spots while changing lanes, driving faster then the rest of the traffic fixes this.

 

A properly installed 5 point harness is safer than a factory seatbelt, especially on a 20+ year old car. I've spent many hours investigating this. Anything without a anti-sub belt (crotch strap) will crush your innards, and an improper shoulder harness angle will compress your spine. Don't fool yourself, the only place to install shoulder belts in an RX-7 is on a roll bar/cage. Anything else will leave you worse off than if you were using the stock seat belt.

Not wearing any kind of seat belt is the biggest disregard to your own safety that you could possibly hope to achieve. I have friends who refuse to wear them. I don't know why. I won't ride with them, because I have no desire to watch them die in an accident. Driving fast is a dangerous risk that I'm willing to take, but not wearing a seatbelt while doing it is just plain stupid.

Oh, and I've never had ANY trouble checking my blindspot with a harness. Or reaching controlls.

I dont know if there was any other damage. I went up on a curb and stuff too. But I was driving and it all seemed fine, just looked cosmetic.

Is there anything else I should look for to be messed up

 

Pm me I have seen a couple FB's in a couple of jy in the area and I think I know most of there pricing seeing how I am there so much.

 

The argument there is that in a rollover the roof caves in and the 5pt keeps you upright crushing your head.
