i have a 83 gs. witha 12a and i wanna bye a frame of a 83/ 84 gsl se iam not sure which year , it cmes with no motor can i just swap my old stuff from my 82 and go.
i need help fast

 

yes can swap pretty much everything except the your rims GS, GSL, bolt patterns dont match with GSL-SE. I think the engine mount might be different

 

the wiring harness is different. you will need your old one. also, you can use the oil cooler off of the SE. you have to get rid of your beehive setup and use the mount for a 79-82 filter w/out top cooler. bolt that on and use the water lines from that and you should be good to go. pretty much everything else will work fine. the oil cooler swap is of course optional, but i would reccomend it. you will also need to swap out your ecu into the 84-85 car if its an SE.
