anybody running MSD blaster2 coils?

anybody running MSD blaster2 coils?

this is also posted in the other rotary section for more help. I have a 72 RX2 with the stock twim dizzy 12a, and i have a pair of MSD Blaster2 coils. and i jsut install them or do i need to buy something else to put them in. any help is appreciated. thanks Matt22

oh and i have new plugs in the car and accel 8.8mm wires if that helps any.

they just go right in... I got a picture of mine, I should mention they look sweet too

As for whether they make a difference or not, its certainly not very noticeable, but the idle seems to be a little better...

The only thing is you will need a ballast resistor on each one because you have points based ignition. From what I have read, you can buy the blaster 2s with or without a ballast resistor included. If you don't have a ballast resistor with your coils, then maybe call MSD and see if you can get one separately, or if you know the value of the ballast resistor, you probably could find one elsewhere.

yes I forgot to mention that, I didn't need a ballast resistor though because I am not using the points style igniton...
