I need input my intercooler choice

ok, i have found a few intercoolers on ebay, and i need some help deciding on one.

(1) 20.5x6x2 3/8 $97 plus 42 shipping this one seems like the best bet, decent size, and good price Item number: 8030262292

(2) 28.25x7.5x2.5 12 psi only $70 plus 40 shipping this one looks the same as #1 and is alot cheaper, but in the add it says it shouldnt be used for more that 12 psi which i want to exceed. Item number: 8031322225

(3) 29x9x2.75 $130 plus 40 shipping this one is a little bigger than #1 but the end tank design worries me a little. i was thinking about maybe moddifying this end tank, and instead of the pipes coming in the side, having them come in from an angle on top. Item number: 8030420215

(4) 20.5x9x2 3/8 $129 plus 43 shipping This one was my ideal choice nice size, good price, good endtank design, but i can no longer find this one at this price. i can find it through other dealers, but its like twice as much. Item number: 8022194027 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

(5) 24x12x3 $100 plus 40 shipping This one i think is just plain to big, and i dont like the end tank design. Item number: 8030262317

#5 is definately a good i/c as pretty much everyone here uses it as well, but only on the higher hp setups. we put one on a 12aT and it had a pretty bad pressure drop. if your going to be flowing alot of air/volume then that one is a good choice. if not, say just using a stock TII turbo or such, then #1 will be perfect.

well once i get it running, and get all the bugs out, i want to upgrade to a bnr, or to a differnt turbo. and #5 is only $0.75 more than #1. but #2 is only 70 dollars...but they say yuou can only use that one up to 12 psi so i dont want to break it.

a good intercooler should easily handle a pressure test up to aorund 80psi atleast... so for #2... that's just fuggin sad. hahaha

if you really plan on stepping up later then get the #5. it takes up ALOT of room up front on our cars tho, so make sure you set it up that everything else still gets flow.

The bar and plate design are supposed to have better flow and cool better, but tube and fin is more affordable.
