I messed up timing 84rx

I set the timing for the leading on the Yellow mark no problem, car is running great. I put the timing light connector on T1 and noticed that it was realy off the mark. when I loosened up on the 2 screws the car died. now i can't get it started. After shifting the vacuum post to various positions I am really stumped. Do you have any suggestions?

I think someone posted a note on 'static timing' or maybe 'bench timing'.

you will see the marks where your screws were placed in relation to the bracket that holds the diaphramin place. i don't think i have had much luck either with the trailing timing. it usually appears off but the engine runs just fine.

Check your coil wires making sure they are correct. The car will run on leading only but not vice versa. You could take off the vac advance as well, but I dont think thats your prob.

I took 2 coils off of a running 85 rx still no spark.i also changed both high tension wires and spark plug wires. I am stumped. Does the juice flow from the coils to the distributor? Whatever supplies the juice to the coils seems to be the problem. What do you think.
