I sat in a racing seat in a friends car. Man that thing was tight on the kidneys.
All the seats Ive looked at look to small. The Corbeau seats look great but they all say "for 34-36 with a tight fit)
I am a 38 so that doesnt work. the only bigger one is ugly as **** and designed for 44-48.
I think the sparco milano is big enough but it is hella expesive.

these are the seats i have for my 81,
im a big boy 6'4" and 116kg (no idea how many pounds) and i fit in them nicely, they make the standard size for small people and the large size for people like me,
nothing beats riding in a car with race seats, they support soo much better and the driver can feel soo much more,
BTW the standard seats are only good to about a 1.47 60' before the back snaps on them

You're about 255 lbs @ 116 kg (figure 2.2 lbs/kg)
@ 6'4" that's not so much girth as just sheer mass. I'm only 183cm / 105kg and I have trouble fitting into any 1st gen without the glass sunroof unless the seats are steeply raked back...

Thanks dude,
im going to mount the seats basically on the floor pan to get some head room, espically with the roll cage in the car there is sweet FA head room, with the helmet on and the stock seats the helmet was wedged into the roof, also i found that the stock head lining was about a inch thick so i am only putting velour on there and none of the padding at all so that will give me another inch!! it will be a tight squeeze

Had the same problem. I was sliding around, so I changed to the TII seats. Still had to brace myself against the rollcage bar and was getting bruised up pretty bad. Finally broke down and spent the money on the Corbeau Targa RS seats. Bad choice, they weight 27lbs each. They did fix the sliding with some Simpson 5-point harnesses. Finally sold them and put a TII seat on the passenger side with stock seatbelt (for my daughter's carseat). Put a Momo racing seat in on the drivers side with a Sabelt 5-point harness. No more problems, no more bruises. The Sablet harnesses are chear from Racer Wholesale. But only use a racing harness with racing seats made for them.
