Holy crap is that stuff HEAVY. I got my RB race port header on now and I had to pull it out of the garage. OMG that was the best thing i've heard, you cant describe it! Well now I got myself a light SS ricer muffler to get me along for a lil while. I will be getting a magnaflow when I get it all set and on the road.

 

nice.. eh if its not to noisy keep the muffler.

i am in fear the "ricey" muffler you speak of will not last 6 months. the exhaust temps usually eat through mufflers pretty quick. i remember when i put my header on my first 7. then i put the rest of the exhaust on, lol.

 

Well you see I prolly wont drive it for much more then 6 months if even that. This is just temp and I could care less how long it lasts, its what they had instock and i'm getting it finished tomorrow. Then for electical issues after that. Then i'm getting it painted in the same silver as the RX-8 and MX-6.

Well I've thought about it... but it 12 hours away for me.. If I do go i'll have to get a trailer and take the old mans conversion van, which wouldnt be too bad.

 

yea the heat could kill the muffler... but i was thinking some mufflers are steal in side not fiberglass. do you know whats in yours?

 

Mine is a univeral 3ARacing Stainless Steal with a 2.5 input. www.3ARacing.com mins oval with a almost 4'' tip.
