Cool i just got my 1st rx7 (im new)

hey guys i just got my 1st 83rx7 it has 92 13b rotary, holley 4 barrel, racing beat intake and exshaust, better gears in the rear end. i was wonderin if thers is any more i can do to it to give it more hp. also can i put a turbo onto it since its carburated or no. does anyone on the form live in jacksonville fl. o ya my name is marcello im 17 i also own a 1991 toyota mr2 and now a 83 rx7 and i love it, its so much fun.

didn't think that factory 13b's from the 92 era on came with carbs...it is possible to turbo with a carb but why not go EFI...less problems...it is alittle more expensive in the short term but its well worth it

I think you meant it came out of a 89 to 91. Rx-7's were not made in 92.

Where are you from...1st gen 79-85...2nd gen 86-92...3rd gen 93-2002...rx-7's were definitly made in 92...with a 13b...

you can throw a carb kit on anything these days.

But back to the question. there is all sorts of things that you can do to the 13b. and all sorts of set ups. i think the easiest would be to just get a 13bt2 mani and turbo, and go from there. its pretty much bolt on i do belive, but dont quote me on this. \

More power, depending on the driving that you want to do.. you can port it. There is several types, and several people who do it. Or you can try it your self, just dont screw it up.
Im sure there is lots more things you can do to the 13b, but im just a simpleton with the 12a....Have a look in the 2nd and 3rd gen forums.
