I saw a stop sign and braked at the last second and I have no more brakes now... my pedal offers me no more resistance

Coming into the downhill turn 4 at Sears Point in a borrowed SA, hit the brakes and blew out a rear wheel cylinder. Brake fluid all over the place, but not on the diff. That looks like another problem. I didn't find out how it happened, but apparently it can.
