I have a consistent idle but no power

I tried my ignitors and got a little bit of power back and a surprisingly consistant tach reading of 750 after some fine adjustments, the shop fu*% the $h!t out of my vacuum lines and said they had it running (it woudl'nt run for me ) but i fixed the vacuum line mix up and have it going agin, there is still almost no power but it will start like new (hot or cold). I preformed the haynes manuel check on the air control valve and it seems to work fine, but I can disconnect any of the electrical components from the carb and see no difference in engine operation. have you ever herad of such a problem? I am thinking it might be an ECU or a relay/fuse somewhere before the systems. where should I go with this? I am going to go through my timming and a few other electrical /ignition components before I get back to the fourm but if you or any body else has ever seen anything like this then Please help because i just don't know what happened!!!!

Clogged Fuel Filter is sometimes the cause of low power. Atleast that's a cheap test to try.

No power

I am guessing the car was running fine then had loss of power?
As fishbulb95 stated unless you have recently replaced your fuel filter it's a good place to start.
A fuel volume/fuel pressure test is in order.
I take it you have already checked for spark to both leading and trailing sides?
Did you recently perform any repair work on the car?
Does it idle fine but will not take throttle?
the more info you give the easier it is to help direct you in the proper direction.
