I got wheels
Picked these up so I could take off my 2nd gen rims the other day. What do you all think? And yes, I know the tires need air.
They were originally all silver, but I really like black with a silver or polished lip on FB's, so that's what I did.

Wow, I like it alot.
I'm assuming that you've got the se bolt pattern though... making these things unavailable to those of us with the 4.x110 pattern
Looks great though!

Haha, I had a power wheels Jeep when I was younger that I used to drive EVERYWHERE around my neighborhood. One day, all the batteries I had for it were dead, and I was all crying and upset because I wanted to drive it because my neighbor had just got one and wanted to drive them with me. The batteries took overnight to charge, so my Dad being the nice guy he was came up with an idea.
At the time, we had 8 Fiat 850s and 1 Fiat X/19 around (my Dad collected/raced them), so he figured that the 12v battery should be interesting to mess around with...
Well, about 30 minutes and some duct tape later, I had myself a car battery on the back of my Jeep where the "tail gate" folded down, so the battery was half on the tail gate, and half hanging off the Jeep held on by good old duct tape.
The interesting part of this came when I attempted to drive it for the first time in the front yard. With the new found weight in the back of the Jeep, and the AMAZINGLY high amperage, as soon as I hit the gas, I was thrown back into my seat as my Jeep shot uncontrolably across the front yard doing a wheelie... That was really cool right up until I couldnt steer and I hit a tree. A large tree. My Dad just laughed (I was ok after all).
Not being the type to be discouraged from having fun easily, I went and got my motocross helmet and went for another spin. And a spin it became. Taking the Jeep out on the the road in my neighbor hood (I pushed the damn thing), I soon found out that I was probably the only kid in the country that had a car battery powerd powerwheels Jeep that could burn rubber...Or in this case, plastic.
The plastic wheels made for some fun burnouts on asphalt, gravel, the neighbors nice cut lawn when wet from the sprinkler, etc. Anyway, needles to say, my neighbor with his "monster truck" power wheels car was jealous because his Dad wasnt as cool as mine and couldnt make his faster.
So, on the day went, with me driving my badass Jeep around the neighborhood. Ill be damned if that battery didnt last all day and make for some serious fun. It was one of my more favorite days with that thing (including the day I got it for Christmas, which I also remember very well). After driving my hot rodded Jeep, the original batteries just werent the same. The Jeep went on to live a long time after that until it finally died from two dead motors. In hine sight, I have a feeling it probably wouldve lasted a lot longer had that car battery not been put on there and most likely over loading them, but Im glad it happened. It made for one of my more favorite childhood memories .

New pic, this time with air in the tires.
The car is almost done. The only thing I really need to do right now is get the windshield washer sprayer working.
I had some tire rubbing issues up front, so as you can tell, I'm running a different tire on the front in these new pics. I like these a lot better than the other ones, and when I need rear tires, I'm going to get a similar profile back there as well.

Thanks for the compliments everybody. I finally got a plate and insurance on it today.....and I took it out for a nice drive. Unfortunately I found out my fuel stainer in the fuel line is still getting clogged, and the car left me stranded, and I had to walk a couple miles for the tools to take my pump off and get the strainer out of the line to unclog it. Bah, looks like I'll be dropping the tank soon. Until then, the car will be limited to local traffic.
