I got a new 7 today

Here she is, an unmolested 84 GSL. This is going to be a real nice car.

$1,548. The brakes were bad and one of the studs in the exhaust manifold is stripped out so it's a bit loud, but it does have a new cat installed and a much cleaner exhaust than my other GSLs. It has an alignment problem that has messed up the front tires (but the rears are like new) and it needs to be cleaned up and some general maintenance. But overall it's in excellent shape, not a sign of rust anywhere and very few nicks and dings.

I put a master cylindar in and drove it home (60 miles) without any problems, even had it up to 90 mph a couple of times. Only 85,000 miles and I'm the fourth owner. The original paint is in great shape - I'll put some wax on today - and the interior is very good. I'll post more photos when I get it cleaned up.

GSL had disk brakes all around, LSD diff, power windows, and I think other little goodies from the factory.

Standard rear hatch wiper, available power steering, standard sunroof, I think the stereo was upgraded.

Yep, all the above, cruise control, power windows, stereo, rear washer, power antenna, etc. See some pictures of my first two pretty much stock GSLs at:

Not all GS models had cruise.. Mine never did.

Mine's nice and base, just the way I like it.

'84 GS. Radio doesn't have an equalizer, no power steering, no power windows, no cruise control, no rear wiper, no headlight sprayers (available on most Canadian models),

The only cool dohickeys my car has are a sunroof, power mirrors, and power gas lid/trunk hatch, which I think EVERYBODY has (except the sunroof.. not everyone has one of those.

You're right, cruise was an option on the GS.

Thanks Mikey, I got a chance to clean it up on Sunday and it turns out to be every thing I'd hoped for and better. No rust anywhere, with a wax job the paint is like new with very few blemishes and there's lot's of recently replaced parts (alternator, radiator hoses, starter, cat). She already runs better than my other two and I still need to do a tune up. I'll post some more photos in a few days. She'll become part of my commuter stable, see the others at:
