I beleive i am the 3rd owner now, the previous owner lived a couple blocks away from me for years and i always stopped to look at the car. bout 2 months ago i stopped by just to talk to another 1st gen guy(i also have a '79), long story short...he replaced the clutch(OE)put a full RB exhaust and dual sheeve alt pully on, then he had kids, so the car just sat in the garage. I fanally got him to sell me the car for $2000 and that same night me and a couple guys i share a shop w/ installed my RB springs, new shocks and the 15's( i bought them for the '79, but that evolved to a diffent project). hopefully either this weekend or on wed. ill be installing my OER carb that i just got from Rotaryshack and my MSD + coils

Really, really, nice S2. Even though the speedo's only go to 80, the Series 2 is my favorite and I'm glad I have one.

Terrified.
I don't like the sleepy eyes, and I don't like the wheels. Either way though, it is an extremely clean and in extremely good shape from the looks of it. Low miles too. I thought I had awesomely low miles at 114,000 when I bought it.

That is one sweet looking car. I like how the silver of the Kosie's works to set off the color of the car. There are few car colors that those wheels really look good on, but I think you nailed it.
Treat her well, and you should enjoy a long-term relationship together.

thx all for the compliments. as for wheels, the koseis look pretty good (got'em for $390 shipped, new)but i would really love some cast magnesium RS Watanabe's, but at $525 a piece ill need to save for a while . shes lazy eyed temporarily b/c i have to manually operate them(borrowed the fuseable link for another car) but i kinda like how it looks for now. i hope to post some under hood pics (before & after) when the new carb is on
