i don't believe this

I won an auction on ebay maybe a week or so ago, and have been trying to contact this guy to make arrangements for pickup, and have got no response...

today i go to check on his profile on ebay, and it says he is no longer an ebay user. he has sold 300 items, and has been on ebay for a long time, maybe he's pissed that the rims only sold for $150, i don't know, but i really need and want these rims, and i can't let this guy get away with this!!!

anybody have any experience with this kind of thing? what can i do? his address shows up under the payment options, but there is no phone number...by the way i did not pay for this item, i figured i'd pay for it when i pick it up. anyone?

Probably not much you can do... maybe do a reverse lookup on the address for the phone # and try to contact him.

i really wanna get in touch with this guy and buy these rims that i ALREADY WON FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!! sorry for yelling, but these are just what i want...

16", old school look 5 spoke, big lip, from a ford thunderbird. they're O.Z/Fittipaldi's....

if i don't end up getting these, i'll be once again looking for mesh wheels. thing is i really want 16" so i can go with a lower pro. tire , such as 205/40/16. i just tried to post a pic, but the filei s too large. sorry. this is really pissing me off...

im going to guess that when the auction ended at $147.50 he decided to keep the wheels...oh i guess i can post the ebay auction

If you've got his phone number, then you should be able to get his address. Just show up with a few (big) friends with money in hand......

His auction says local pickup only. Sounds like an invitation for a personal visit to me.

If he didn't live too far away I'd show up to the house with 147.50.

ACTUALLY, there IS something you can do!

Notice that when you put an item up for sale, you are actually signing a contract that states you have to sell the item to the winning bidder as long as the reserve price (if one) is met and the auction was NOT ended early other than by the "buy it now" option. I would contact Ebay and notify them of what went down. They will then contact a collection agency whom will notify the seller and take action if necessary.

BUT. i do see a small error in your case. You have not paid for the item. But in my opinion, that should not change the fact that he still has to sell you the wheels.

GOOD LUCK MAN!

P.S. dont ask me how i know....

Those wheels are 4 on 108MM not 110mm. You will prob get them to mount but I would not trust it. I have seen this done a few times.

BTW, Here is a link to the ebay rule:

They will probably fit, but be sure to check the offset! Have you found the "loose" head bolts over in the states yet?

no i haven't looked for the 'loose head bolts', but i will be.l..that is if i get these wheels!!

i have the address, and now the phone number...i called, and left a message.

no i haven't paid for the item, but that is because i assumed i would pay when i pick up the item, and i left several messages stating this, and no response. i don't think he can get out of this because i haven't paid yet. i clearly said in my pm's to him that i would bring along the cash, and i repeadaly asked when i can come pick them up.

i am NOT going to let this ******* get away with this. i know his phone number, address, name, etc. WHO WANTS TO GO WITH ME???? its in Missisauga!!!
