I can't get it up!
Alright, I've tried and tried but I can't get it up. Well the saga goes: I was cruising down the highway about 60 and the rpms just skyrocket to about 6K. Although maintaning speed I have really week tourqe, as in I can't push the gas pedal in without just reving up the engine and gaining VERY little speed. My engine is running strong (no problem there) and the horsies are free to roam they just aren't getting out the rear wheels. My car feels like it has an abused geo metro engine. The clutch pedal is fully disengaged but feels like it is barely grabing. It's really hard to describe but somone told me old school clutches were adjustable and it sounded like mine was just slipping...bad. First-fith gear is just extremly sluggish. My worst fear is that my clutch is completely gone and I need to find a new one, if this is true, does anyone know a good place to find one? I've been whoring ebay but nothing has really came up. I've checked all fluids and they are fine, although my slave cylinder is leaking like niagra falls but I keep clutch fluid in the resivoir. Any help would be very much appreciated as so i can get my car back on the road.

I drove it, It seemed like disc and hydralics really poor cond.
I got everything to fix it, we can start with hydraulics, and see what happens, at the least We can put an extra working set I have and make sure that's what's wrong, I'm really sure about it though.
Next time you come down, you can drive my car and see what it supposed to feel like.
It would be like a whole new car to you.

i adjusted the firmness on my clutch, cause i was having the same sorta problem like you are. my clutch was just weak. it took so much to get her going. but now that the clutch is firmer.... wow what a difference. and it disengages much sooner.
so...maybe you should try that. before you just buy a new clutch.
you MIGHT need to replace your master and slave clutch cylinders too. especially since your slave is leaking.... that just might be your problem.
thats my opinion.
good luck.

You need a clutch.
I have a used lightened flywheel and a used Centerforce clutch set up that works perfectly if you are interested. it came off of a 4 port 13B.
Let me know if you have interest.
