front brakes

i was wondering if any company make an adapter piece for the brake lines. im trying to swap the front strut assembly to gslse's but i don't want to change the whole brake master cylinder and the prop. valves. any info is greatly appreciated. thanks

Do you need to change anything if you've already got discs on all four corners? I thought you only had to change stuff if the rear was drums and you swapped to a disc setup. The only time the brake lines were different was the thread pitch between the SA and the FB IIRC.

i have a SA and im changing the front struts to GSL-SE. i'll do the rear later on. im jus looking for an adapter piece for the brake lines.

Why change? Does the GSLSE have bigger front rotors or calipers??

Oh yeah!, and a better bolt pattern for a wider wheel selection.

I see. That's why you have to change the wheels then.


Are the brakes so improved that it is worth buying new wheel for it?

The front rotors on a GSL-SE are 9.9" I think and the rear are like 10.1". If you already have the se brakes do the change. Bigger brakes are better, and the se rims look better than the 12a's IMO.
