Looks like you got it bad. After I got my fourth one I was immediately hit with this powerful urge to buy another. I didn't even want to sell any of the tons of spare parts I had lying around because I figured they were worth more to me than I'd get for them. Here's a picture from a few months ago:

When I realized the main reason I have RX-7s was to have a good inexpensive and fun commuting option, I started to come to my senses and sought professional help through the Old Guys with 12As Club. First they showed me how to let go of parts by helping them out with things they needed.

Then they made me realize I already had two very road worthy and pretty GSLs that will probably last for at least 5 more years, even with the 30,000 a year I put on the cars commuting.

Now I am dismantling two of my more heavily used 7's and hope to have the hulks out of the driveway by the end of summer. Of course, then I will have more room for more 7's........

I need to come down next time I'm in Chattanooga visiting the in-laws. My wife is from Jasper and her father's family lives in Trenton. Might have to bring cash though, if I spy a white one, it might have to come home with me.

Dude a true enthusiast you wouldn't leave them all rotting in a field like that. It's a disgrace and you should be ashamed. Please fix them up.

They will last forever--or indefinitely--if you take care of them.

Now I am dismantling two of my more heavily used 7's and hope to have the hulks out of the driveway by the end of summer. Of course, then I will have more room for more 7's........
Thats a shame.

Where do you find them all anyway? 1st and 3rd gens are really rare, I only ever see a few seconds. There are none around here. None on the road, none in junkyards, none on car lots, never see any in the paper for sale.

Somehow they all ended up in Alabama and Georgia
