Humm K I need to know what this thingy is :)

ok so there is this little black box that was hooked up to some white electrical plug that sits right infront of the battery. The connector was completely corroded.

Unless it's a headlight motor plug. I really can't see it. Can you take a closer shot of it?

I thought it would be something for the lights but its not. I disconnected it and everything still worked. Im sure someone will let you know what it is soon.

Its the Oscillator.Theres been a lot a questions about what exactly it does.Basically it controls the low coolant buzzer. The light will still work if its unplugged, but the buzzer wont.Mazda really didnt want us to run low on coolant!

theres a lot of places that have remote oil filters. I know that Mazdatrix and Racing beat have them for sure. Ive even seen them on Summit and Jegs. I just put it on so i can use a bigger oil filter. (a Fram PH8) i had it on my rx2 and just decided to put it in my 7.

Everything looks pretty simple except the block off plate that must replace the stock filter location. I have the aluminum block that allows oil temp and pressure fittings under my filter already - what kind of fitting replaces the filter?
