When it's humid, such as after a rain or after a car wash, I sometimes get an annoying high-pitched squeal from under or behind the dash. It sounds like the headlight warning alarm is shorting out. Sometimes it's faint and intermittent, but usually once it starts, it's quite loud and continuous. It's definitely electronic, not mechanical. Anyone have this experience? Any known resolution? I suppose that I could disable the high rev alarm and light alarm, but I'd like to retain them.

If I were you, I'd just check all the connections for starters.
