HUD on a first gen?

Hey

Has anybody put a heads up display on a first gen?

I am looking into this and wanted to know if anybody has tried this.....

Ive seen some in person, and its nothing I personally would want in my car. Theyre just kinda ugly, and hard to see most of the time. Gauges are just as easy to use .

haha, tell that to a cop next time you get pulled over for speeding. The HUDs that came out on that Seville or Deville or what ever, cost about $2000. I don't know how easy it would be to integrate that into another vehicle.

I would think the RX-7's windsheild would be to small for that... it would block too much vision...

I think the wind screen has to be coated with something
to make it more reflective.. in the yamaguchi rx7 book
theres a 7 with a heads up display

if you wanted a unit to pull try the 240sx. it would probably be closer to the 7 in fitment etc.

How bout putting 2G into a TII swap, or a full engine treatment. Maybe you could get an eccentric shaft custom fabricated out of titanum that can handle RPMs up to 15 000 rpm instead getting a retarded H U D.
