Your right they are heavy, hard to keep clean. rattle . Pulled mine off and went with a blue tint on the glass.

wait till you tint before you pull them. they keep the car a lot cooler and keep the rear plastic from bleaching in the sun.

If your plastic starts to fade, goto napa and get some vinyl paint. Just rub the old stuff with paint thinner, and spray on a coat. It looks good, i changed my cars interior from a faded red to a black.
