Question How rare are these SA parts?

I've located another 1st gen I'll be buying tomorrow.

I went to check it out just now, and noticed it had some interesting parts installed.

Are these rare? Worth much?

It's a 1979 SA.

Wheels:

I didn't happen to check the size. I'd have to assume they are 14"s.

79 with a glass sunroof?

Whole car:

I think the wheels are Weds Racing. Im not sure what that model is called though. I think there pretty rare, but not highly desired either. I doubt there worth a whole lot. but there probably worth more than stock wheels.

I wish my SA had a sun roof.

i got 225 for a 79 roof on ebay, but you have to remember that the only car that roof fits is a 79. and how many running 79's you know of that arent in dire need of work in other areas rather than paying 200+ for a glass roof? i got lucky, but I wouldnt except more than 100-150 for the roof.

the wheels might be rare, but my god those things are fugly LOL might make a good door stop or something.

I got $212 for a bronze tinted FB roof on Ebay before. Does the 79 roof fit the 80 as well....or only the 79?

hahah... thats kinda what i meant by saying they aren't highly desired. they remind me of the wheels on the big chevy family vans. you know the ones im talking about? with the ladder and crap on the back.

There's a 79 in a junkyard near here that has a sunroof. i should check and see if the glass one is in the back somewhere. i didnt know they were worth that much.

Any way you could get pics of the car in the yard? Address and phone number for it?

You'd be a fool not to keep that car together. The body is in awsome condition compared to mine. Keep it with the sunroof, but you really could ditch those rims, I wouldnt want them, def not original rims. Is it 5 spd like mine?

I just got the car dropped off today. Had to actually put my 2nd gen back together so I could move it to another section of the yard.

The car started up, and I drove it off the end of the flatbed towtruck. (it was down, I didn't fly off the back of it.)

The paint is a little faded on the hood, but all the trim is intact. Driver's seat is a little worn out and is covered with a seat cover.

The wheels ARE 13"s. Exhaust is all solid.

I still haven't determined my plans for the car yet....in whether I'm parting it out, or restoring it as a whole.

I'll have to check it out in the next few days. The sunroof is actually perfect. I was surprised to see the handle assembly was all mint too.

You know that those wheels are Hazzard County originals, right? They look exactly like what was on 'ol 01. You're an orange paint job and rebel flag away from having your own General Lee.

I need a driver fender, headlight assy, header panel, and Hood. A glass sunroof would just be a bonus. I am going to look for the parts I need local but , I am thinking of going to the Corvette Musemum at bolling green and up to Mamoth cave the week of christamas, so I may be in the area.

Just the phone number of the yard would be good. If it is not much trouble to you.

Cody

that car looks great. Dont part it. It took me a year and a half to find an SA close enough to go get.

if i remember correctly, the roof only fits the 79 model and i think it's called the two piece roof. not 100% sure. but i am pretty sure it fits only the 79 model.
