How much for a reman 12A?

If I wanted to just buy a remanufactured 12A from mazda how much would it cost? Also do they require you to give them a core or anything?

I got mine through ATK, which resells Atkins Rebuilds. All things considerred, the short block was $2,000, not including the refund for the core. This included the flywheel which was held on by a 375 foot pound nut.

There are many pitfalls while doing the the installation and start up. I must of fell into all of them. If you decide to install a rebuild, I tell you what they were.

some mazdas still do. i know here they will do it and yes they require the core, but it does not have to be upfront. too damn expensive if you ask me.
