Got a question for you guys... I just got a deal on a full RB streetport system for my GSL-SE. About how much power do you think it will help me with?

What else should I do to help? I plan on some sort of an cone intake shortly. What about pineapple racing sleeves?

 

i was wondering the same thing, im looking to get a rb full exhaust and cone for my -se.
what are the pineapple racing sleeves? do you have a link i could go to for those?

 

rx7gslse, I have found out it is hard to throw hp #s around unless you dyno. You know my history and back in the days I used to throw the #s around, then I used a dyno.....I was unpleasantly suprised at most of the #s! Here in DFW, we have access to a bunch of chassis dynos for a very fare price. I would do some dyno time and get #s on paper. Sometimes you can find "dynodays" at some places for $25 a run. I know of a place about 10 min. from my house that will let you run on their dyno for $75 for the first hr. and $45 each additional. Unfortunatly RX7.com wont dyno unless you are purchasing something and they are installing it.....you know the big budget 3rd gen. guys....haha.

 

And I dont think you will have merly enough to be him^^^^ .... Well, ot enough power to weight ratio

I mean, that you car is LIGHT, and will have POWER, and the GSL-SE wont be able to woop up on you

 

Depends on what he does to it??? If he decides to run one of the mod classes or jump into F prepared he can then get the weight down to 1900lbs and party with the rest of us...hehe.....

 

Eh fair enough... I guess I'll just keep my eye out for a dyno day. I posted a thread a couple days back asking people to post dyno results with different things done to their car to get some sort of an idea... Didn't get as much response as I'd hoped though...

I did a search on the forum, and there are mixed reviews, with most response from the 2nd gen area. I was just posing a question to see if anyone had something to add that I might not have thought of...

No, but Alamo Autosports off of S. Cooper st. will let you get 3 dyno pulls for $75...Just did it and I'll post when the stupid batteries are charged up on the camera...don't have a dock station for this Kodak...
