I just wanted an excuse so i buy the carbon fiber hood. Still am!!!

I dont now if you have seen in other threads but I am having carbon ones made also. I am having fiberglass ones made now and working on the carbon ones. It is taking me forever to do these.....send me a pm if you are interested so I can have you on my list. I will be selling the stock carbon hood for around $350.

 

I know, I'm just waiting impatiently! LOL. I want it so bad!!!!! Almost as bad as I want my car back, but i would like to be the first one who buys one as well!!!!!!!

 

I should have a scale slip of one I parted out at home. It still had seats in it, but no glass, hatch, hood or doors, drivetrain, suspension, exhaust, gas tank. Carpet and dash were still in it. I want to say it was ~650lbs.

I think one can be pretty streetable and stay around 2100lbs.

 

my '85 GSL-SE full everything except A/C w/ me weighs in at 2560lbs now, so 2425lbs.

 

if you strip everything and don't put yourself in it............
