"The guys that put in the new motor crossed vacuum lines, somehow they crossed a vacuum line with a fuel return line to the tank, therefore when the car is running vacuum is sucking the return fuel into the engine and it winds up in the oil pan."
It depends on how long and how hard it was run. Drain and filter the oil, check for brass colored flakes, open up the oil finter and do the same. Good answers require good details in the question.
well can anyone tell me if this is a common mistake in FB's?
ive been asking around and some people seem to think that you would have to be really dumb to mistake a fuel line with a vacuum line

First time I've heard of this particular fiber. I know guys that run pre-mix in their TIIs and the oil level goes up to the point that they either have to siphon off the increased oil level, or change it out with fresh oil.
