How Many Rx-7s Have You Owned

I was talking to some of my friends at work the other day and they were asking me "why". I said "why" what and they replied why the Rx-7 and I got to thinking that over the last 15 years I have owned alot of cars and alot of them were 7's I was wondering how many other people have had a number of 7's through the years..

I have owned:

1983 GSL w/leather painted a hidious "Money Green"
1982 GSL original "Mud & Blood"
1986 SE Maroon
1988 GXL Light blue
1984 GSL Misty Blue Metallic (My Current and Favorite)

3 7s, And a **** ton of others cars(which are mostly up for sale). but the 7s are the most special to me.(and the bigest pain in my ***, ive had the worst luck with them)

1986 Mazda RX-7 GXL(couldnt get it running and needed family car. Got traded for a Plymouth Voyager. Final Costs: $1500-$2000 ballpark)
1986 Mazda RX-7 Base(this is a special case. Paid to have it stored by a friend and the "friend" ether sold it or had it towed off and crushed. Final Costs: $750-$1000 ballpark)
and my Retro Rotary,
1979 Mazda RX-7(which is curently not running)

since 93 ive had the following;

1986 base, gold with red
1980 grey, 6 port 12a, we repainted it black too
1980 widebody targa
1984 white gsl, dowel pin leaker, it had a small fire, put it back together
1981? gold parts car
1984 brown gsl-se i bought wrecked and put back together
1985 maroon gsl-se, it was vandalised, i put windows in it, then it got totalled
1985 gs, 13b, dellorto, small fender flares, couldnt get it smogged
1984 gs, another white one, i spent $500 and drove it for 20,000miles
1985 gsl-se, parts car
1985 gsl-se, this one had been abused by everyone and anyone since it was new, 240+k miles and still going strong!
1983 limited edition, another $900 20k mile special
1985 gsl-se, silver, bought and resold
1988 turbo2, put a new motor in it, then the 20b, then another stock bt, then sold it
1991 blaze red coupe, bought it, intending to have a nice driver but the motor was shot, and someone else wanted it more than me
1993 cym fd, had it since 99, it flies, but the landing was rough
1984 gsl-se, grey, had a pulsation damper fire, $100, i put a pd into it and it ran and even passed smog
1985 gsl-se, silver i just got this one, its another beater, but its soon gonna be turboed

i think thats it, there might be one or two i'm forgetting. looks like i need a couple more just to round things out!

I've had three FB's, two of which were race cars, so they ended up with all the good performance options eventually. And 4 FC's, one that is almost my new race car, pics coming soon. I can't remember how many parts cars have come through shop, I'd say about 5.

Currently

93 Red Tan 5spd
88 Red/Tan top and interior Vert
85 Soon to be sold GS
79 Project Base
77 104k original mile REPU

In the past

1 other 85
1 80
1 79
1 87
75 REPU
74 REPU

The 87 was funny, I had a long commute to work for awhile. It was a beater with 220k on the clock. Bought it for 300 and drove it for a whole summer back and forth to save gas and keep from putting mileage on other stuff. Afterward, I sold it to an employee for 600.

On number 10 right now, 8-FB's and 2-FC's, the early cars are very easy to find in Southern Cali since none of them pass smog. Trying to find one here in Florida is like looking for Atlantis, this is probably my last FB so I am trying to make it really nice. If I crash this one I will be going to an FD if $$$ permits.
