Here in upstate New York I can't ever remember seeing one on the road. Must be somewhere up here since I was able to find one. People up here don't think you can drive a rear drive car in the snow. They all think you need to drive a big *** SUV. Not that I would with this car. The road salt would eat it up in an instant. It will be sad to have to put her away for the winter.

7's

Here in New England they have become pretty rare. When I owned one back in 85 they were everywhere, I used to see 5+ on any given day between work and home. These days, well this season, I have seen 1 3rd gen, 1 2nd gen, and 2 1st gens, neither of which were in very good shape. Vanishing breed I guess.

They really are a great summer ride for the money but I suspect the cost of maintenence and absence of parts scare away anyone who is not a do-it-yourself-er. It really is an enthusiest car, with kind of a cult following. Obviously, they are'nt making any more so they will only get rarer, especially in the colder climates.

Well, there is my 2 1st gens and then I know of 4 2nd gens. 1 is my friends (vert) and another vert across town. Then nearby there is another s4 that doesnt run (wiring problem) and then the s4 in the junkyard. I have seen a couple different 3rd gens about a half hour north of me, but thats about it.

In Tulsa, Oklahoma I've seen quite a few second gens, a couple of first gens, but no 3rd gens just driving around. We did have a rotary BBQ spring of '03 though. I saw plenty 7s then. There were over thirty 7s attending. Also, my friend in Owasso had three 1st gens and a 2nd gen at one time. Now he just has two 1st and one 2nd. So I see him around a bit. 1st gens are rare driving around, but very common sitting on blocks in a salvage.

I dont see a lot of them around here. One of my friends has a FB, and there is a silver TII driving around, but thats all I see on the road. there is only 1 other running first gen in my area that I know of, and it looks like he rear ended a truck last weekend. Every once in a while ill see one parked in the grass with a for sale sign, but there is almost never an engine or transmission in those. Theres probably a lot more than that around here, but I dont drive around that much so I dont see them.

in Memphis there is my first gen, a white one sitting in a backyard and one black on and one red on still on the road, one white TII. Now on the other hand FD's are everwhere, as the former home town of RX-7 Heaven, the Fd's are everywhere, oh and there was one 10 sec blue 1st gen here up untill it caught the left lane wall at Memphis motorsports park...damn it was awesome looking, but that one is a thing of the past and a scrub mark on a dragstrip wall.

I always see 2nd gens around here and few 1st and 3rd gens. But everytime we have a meet there would be at least 30 RX7's that show up from the woodwork.
