i have about 160,000 miles on myne and its a 80 and everytime i started it i had to put in a quart of oil, and 2 if it sat over night, i barly rebuilt it about a month ago and when i took it apart the o rings littarly poofed infront of my eyes it was like blowing on a pile of dust it was funny! now it runs so much better with just new o rings and nothing else moded it makes a world of difrence.

Car fax shows I am about the 8th owner -'84 GSL-SE.
159K miles on what appears to be the original engine, which runs fine.

I am the second owner. Bought the car with 142k on it.

1985 12A, just turned 220k. K&N, RB header, really free flowing cat, PowerPulse muffler, 2GDFIS. Drive it everyday. Pulls great.

A few more years and no more emissions. Then I can upgrade the carb.

I am at least the third (fourth or +) owner of both cars

1979 currently 76k bought it with 57k all mechanics are original or replaced with original replacement parts

1984 GSL 170K with new clutch, clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, and I am in the process of getting the carb rebuilt (secoundaries are not opening, and a float may be sticking or shot)

170,000km all original!

The engine's a real trooper.. spent a few yrs siezed, brought back by ATF. It runs, and will keep running, but I've got plans for it

The engine in my SA still ran fine but blew oil after every shift and left a cloud of oil so thick you could climb it during downshifts before a tight turn on the solo II track. I pulled it and installed an engine from an '83 that doesn't blow nearly as much oil, mostly for the sake of the track marshalls, who didn't deserve to be breathing in that **** at every turn. I think the engine I'm using has ~120,000 miles on it. The engine in my SA had only ~112,000 miles but the car was abused from Day One. I have some old newspaper clippings that came with the car's maintinence log that showed that the original owner raced it in the SCCA down in Texas before the car was imported to Canada in the late '90's.

Also, I'm not so easy on the thing myself.

SE has 150k on it, stock motor, no smoke on startup, runs good!

the 13b in the GS has been rebuilt but i seriously question how it was done since the previous owner just told me it had been rebuilt 40k ago without saying who did it, and i didnt bother to ask at the time. ohwell both cars still rip it up.
