digging this thread up a bit, but anyways

4th/5th owner (haven't gone through the history completely), 134XXX Miles on my 183 GSL, still going stong...leaks oil (what else is new), and i think something is going with my clutch, but still running strong.

Envy of a lot of people too =D

82 GSL with 104K. Runs pretty good when I don't let batteries die from just sitting. Mine too smokes a little on startup, and has the traditional oil leak from the pan gasket (I think). Clutch slips if I try to accelerate too hard. Not sure what that problem is . . . maybe oil on the clutch plate. Starting to fix 'er up. Body and interior are perfect, but will need some fresh paint.

i currently am running my gsl with an ORIGINAL gsl-se motor with 170k on it. modded to **** (maxed out for a stock block). made 125hp to the wheels. gets 19mpg(SHITTY to todays standards, but damn good for my setup) and runs like a champ. and yes it does leak oil from the front cover and oilpan. damn 20 year old gaskets...

1st owner put 30,000 miles on mine.

2nd owner put 30,000 more on it.

I bought it in '93 and have been redlining it for 60,000 miles myself. I just checked my compression w/both factory testers at ~120psi on all faces!

No problems AT ALL, she's my DD but I guess she could use new steering/suspension rubber...

I just bought a car with 208k miles no rebuilds.

Runs great. Very slow, and has a wicked dowel pil leak.

Mine is still going my guess is it around 175K. I wish I could say the same for the body of the car.
