TX How many miles do you have in your SE?

How many miles have you gotten on the stock GSL-SE motor? And, How many MPG are you achieving? Looking for input from past/new SE owners, Thanks!

Search button works after about 50 posts. Keep it up!

But in all seriousness, most people get about 200k miles out of first gens. It is all in how you maintain it.

My SE had 165k when I sold it. The guy I sold it to then drove it from here in NC to Alaska, and then back to NC again to visit.

Mine is at 68k miles.

I recommend everyone to add their GSL-SE to their personal inventory on www.fueleconomy.gov so we can see how other SE's are doing fuel economy wise. I've been tracking my fuel usage since 2004.

Mine is at almost 202,000 miles on the stock engine. I'm getting from 18/mpg city to just recently almost 30/mpg on the highway last night.

I do need to do a tuneup and get a new airfilter, tho.

Mine is just over 103K.

I bought it with about 101K in October. Car runs perfect...no smoking no power loss nothing. It is super reliable. I am running a test pipe and RB muffler so I am sure my mileage is effected. With a full tank and normal mixed driving more city traffic I am getting around 220-230 miles. Not great I know...

Getting about 15-25 depending whether on the freeway or in the city.60,000 on the odometer so its still like new.I havn't installed the power steering yet so I imagine that I will lose a mile or two to the gallon. The others were about the same as far as economy.About 200,000 on the other SE'S.They were still running strong yet I sold em.

Mine right now has 71,501 miles all on the 84 13b.
and if i drive "normal" i get maybe 20 or so, if i stay on the gas all damn day then i get quite a bit less somewhere close to 15 or so.
