how many miles?

ok, heres how this works. i'll post a couple engine pics....... and you all let me know how many miles these have. sound fair and easy. ........ lets see. so far the 3 places i asked got it wrong. but what does the dealership and a couple other rotary shops know.

well those pics are missleading... it can be hard to judge

For example, we can determine that since it has atkins seals in it, its a rebuilt engine. What this doesnt tell us, is weather that rotor housing was new or used when the engine was rebuilt.

I see chrome flaking on the actual housing which tells me that the housing itself probably has at least 100,000 on it. However there seems to be apex seal chatter on the housing too, mabey from lack of OMP lube...

I'm gonna guess 100,000... I may be totally wrong, because all in all I am a total n00b after all

Your pics of the seals are not detailed enough to tell wear rate, and most people aren't going to be able to guess a number on aftermarket seals anyway. Relatively few engines are built with Atkins seals, and therefore wear patterns of these seals are not clearly defined to many individuals. New or used housing, and the reason for the teardown was what?

Give the history and you'll get better guesses.
