How loud are without the cat?

Hi, stock 12a 1985 GSL. Mid section of exhaust is in rotten shape. I was thinking of using this "Bönez Main Cat Race Pipe" instead of stock cat since I don't need to pass emmisions anymore:

The fact that it's only $135 is nice too. The car has an otherwise stock exhaust. Will it be crazy loud or just louder?
Thanks.

With a test pipe it isn't much louder, with a gutted cat it is much louder do to the hollow cat chamber resonating.

Like the others have said, it will get noticeably louder with a test pipe, but it won't be that loud.

I sent you a PM regarding getting you the actual bonez cat. I had the cat bolted on in my car and it wasn't loud to any degree relative to before with the stock muffler, and you can keep all the emissions in place...If you want.
