I totally agree. You can modify the RX-7 with a better engine to keep up with most stock modern cars but what is the point of making a comparison?

The original question was valid, how much extra power was required to beat a stock 350Z or WRX? The answer is simple, double the horsepower from a stock RX-7.

It's like a small girl trying to be taller than her rival. She can keep on wearing higher and higher heels, but be warned it will get to the point where she becomes unstable and topples over. Of course you could try stilts to get greater height, so lets add a 13BTT, or heaven forbid a V8.

I don't want to be a circus entertainer, so I perform with what God gave me- a stock 85 12AT and a 5' 5" wife, and I am in heaven.
