because i dont know if the switch is messed up or the wiper motor

 

Here are the pages from the 84 FSM. I think 82 is similar.

 

motor same for all 1st Gen RX7s. Disconnect plug at wiper motor - use the wiring diagram to determine + power, add some 12v and see if it turns. I personally would PULL the rack/motor out of the car and disconnect the motor (3 bolts) off rack and test that way - OR take it to any auto electric shop - they will likely bench test it for free (take wiring diagram). Easy to remove - just note order of fittings as they mount on each wiper spline!!
