How to delete BAC?

Girlfriend has a 85' GSL-SE, and she has a bad BAC.

Is there a way to delete it?

Its not like the S5, where there are coolant lines and all that good stuff attached, it's just the vacuum hose and electronic connector... that's it to it.

Do I just make a plate to cover the hole up and seal it with RTV, and cap the intake with a nipple cover?

That is what I did on my race car. The way I read the factory manual the BAC on these engines only activates for AC and Power steering, it is not a true closed loop idle control. Of course on my race car I have the idle set at around 1500 rpm so it’s not very critical anyway.
