how to clean all that crap off engine?

Question how to clean all that crap off engine?

sup everbody..

i drive a 84 gsl.. with 13b 4port engine swap.. headers... exhaust.... ect.

i was wonder how i would go about removing all that emissions crap off the top of my engine...... and of all those vales and stuff (white, blue, yellow, gray, green, brown)..... and if your wondering.......... no i dont have to pass emissions...

would there be anything i need to keep....

i know it wont help my performance any, but it sure would look alot nicer


any help would be great

I use c-2 engine cleaner. I found it at K-mart.

That is some strong cleaner if it eats off all the ratsnest. Must be alot of acid to eat the rubber and copper tubes.

haha sorry... i didnt think to use common sense and search..... im new to forums


anyways... i found the site wiht pics of a older 7 with steps on how to remove the rats nest.... but it looks slightly different to mine

is it all the same ish though?

It was the discrepencies of the shadows on the gun that gave it away for me. Obviously Adobe Photochopped. *nods*
