How can I get 200 HP out of 83 RX7 12a?

I have a 1983 RX7 I am bringing back to life and I was wondering what I could do to my 12a to get more torque and hp out of it without swapping engines. When it comes to porting, I'm partial to street as it has longest engine life longevity. So what could I do to achieve my goal? Turbo? Cold air intake? Which carb? What kind of headers/exhaust? Thanks.

1 x 12A = 100hp

So, by that math.

2 x 12A = 200HP

Simple.

I like your thinking.

Seriously, though, forced induction is your only option. Never seen anyone come close to 200 to the wheels with a streetported NA 12A.

With a BIG streetport, good tuning and exhaust you can get 200hp N/A, not sure if it will make that hp below 8k RPM. Or you can use a TII turbo and get 200hp with 12psi on a stock engine. I'd stay away from nitrous unless you really like drag racing, and then you'll want a bit more than 200hp anyway

Get the vortec cyclone torbonator.

They're good for about 10 hp.
http://www.vorteccyclone.com/boosthorsepower.html

HOW MUCH WILL I GAIN? – Over the years we have had testimonials from customers who have seen horsepower gains of up to 31%. Our average customer gains between 5-12 horsepower
So get 10 of them and decacharge your 12a.

With a 12A, though? As far as I can remember the highest I've ever seen from a streetported 12A was ~170 to the wheels.

Soo im guessing you haven't seen the 780 WHP 12A carbed FB yet? Just wondering. Because it exists and he is on RX7CLUB. Think his name has how much power he has. And im not sure what port he has. But dams I picked up Housing with MASSIVE street port on it. Thats what i was hoping to get. And im gonna try to go Megasquirt and Turbo. I hate the nikki. Hate it. I wanna take a sledge to the POS

The original question never said anything about Boost. Everbody knows you
can make more that 170 to the wheels with a boosted streetported 12A

I could be wrong, I thought with a perfect tune and custom tuned exhaust they could get closer to 200 with a monster street port but I did a search and couldn't find any.

I think everyone knows about Roberts car, it took lots of money, about 36psi of boost and a bigass turbo to get 780rwhp and it did not have a carburetor. And why all the hate for the nikki? Blow through nikki's have made up to 400-500hp, they don't like to and are basically drag race only at that point, but it can be done.

If you only make 170rwhp with a streetport AND turbo you're doing it wrong A stockport 12a, TII turbo, and blow through nikki should make 170rwhp with 8-10psi, mine made 200rwhp 210rwtq at 12-14psi.

That math almost works, 12a x 14.7psi = 100hp, 12a x 29.4psi = 200hp
